Cole Land and Cattle was born from a vision to bring honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship to every acre we touch. After nearly two decades working as a power plant electrician, Matthew Cole made the decision to step away from industrial life and step into the land—building a business that reflects his values and serves the community he calls home.


What started with a few machines and a strong work ethic has grown into a trusted local excavation and land services company—serving homeowners, hunters, and landowners throughout Northeast Oklahoma.

Meet the Owner: Matthew Cole

With 18 years of experience in the electrical field, Matthew knows what precision means. That background drives his commitment to doing every job with care, accuracy, and long-term reliability. He’s a hands-on owner who operates the equipment himself—and treats every job as if it were on his own land.


When he’s not on a jobsite, he’s with his wife and three kids—often alongside them. Cole Land and Cattle isn’t just a company name. It’s a reflection of their way of life, their Oklahoma roots, and the pride they take in working the land.

What We Do

We specialize in land-focused services that support rural property owners, homesteaders, and anyone looking to improve their land.


  • Land Clearing – Brush, trees, stumps, and debris removal using professional mulching and grinding attachments.
  • Site Preparation – Laser-guided grading and compaction for homes, shops, barns, and more.
  • Utility Trenching – Precision trenching for residential utilities like water, electric, and conduit.
  • Recreational & Ag Work – Clearing, grading, and access prep for hunting plots, fencing lines, and livestock facilities.


We run a small but powerful fleet: two skid steers, a 20,000 lb excavator, and specialty attachments like a forestry mulcher, laser grader, six-way blade, and soil conditioner.
